OVpay developed new ways to check in and out in public transport. More information can be found on ovpay.nl
Paying for public transport in the Netherlands has changed. Instead of the classic OV-chipkaart, OVpay makes it more flexible to check in and out in different ways.
Within a multidisciplinary team at Translink I worked as a User Experience Designer on the digital products for OVpay. The goal of these digital products (OVpay app and web), is to provide customer service for public transport users in the Netherlands.
Public transport in the Netherlands works with one system: OV-chipkaart. The operator for this system is Translink.
OV-chipkaart's successor is OVpay, whereby the purpose is to provide flexibility in how users check-in/out and pay while traveling in the Dutch public transport system.
At Translink I worked in a multidisciplinary team, whereby I contributed in creating flows, wireframes and in preparing and conducting usability tests.
