We are living in an amazing and ever-evolving time with incredible innovations such as AI. Within a team at Scitodate, we built MirrorThink that uses and empoweres GPT 4.0. MirrorThink is an AI tool that helps scientists and researchers with finding answers to their questions about scientific methods, research, papers, and related topics.

Design brief
Simple and minimalistic
Keep the development work to a minimum and make the interface simple to understand.
Reduce visual clutter
Minimize visual clutter so the user can focus and distinguish the written prompt and answer.
Futuristic look and feel
In order to give it a futuristic vibe, another goal was to make it feel like talking to the Matrix.
Inspiration
One of the design goals was to make it feel like the Matrix.

In order to define the design style such as the color and logo, I collected some inspiration for the design (source: pexels.com)

The following elements are used for the design style.
  • Dark theme
  • Bright green colors
  • Glowing colors / lines
  • Coding font
Logo design
For the logo the goal was to create something that matched the following description.
  • Recognizable
  • Looks scientific or mathematical
  • Looks futuristic
  • Can be animated (for loading)
Eventually, the chosen logo is the triangle with the filled parts. This logo can be animated and used for loading screens.
